File State Sales Tax with LaTAP
Sales tax filers experiencing difficulties with the Combined State and Local Sales and Use Tax Return (Parish E-File) can file and remit state sales tax through the Louisiana Taxpayer Access Point (LaTAP), the free tax account management platform administered by the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR).
If you don’t have a LaTAP account, visit LaTAP and click the “Sign Up” link.
Current LaTAP users can register a business for a sales tax account by clicking “Register My Business” in the Registration box on the LaTAP homepage.
No penalties or interest will apply to returns due Feb. 20, 2026, if returns and payments are submitted by March 31, 2026.
Watch our interactive help guide for information about creating and managing sales tax accounts in LaTAP.
LaTAP is for managing Louisiana state tax accounts only. It cannot accept local sales tax returns or remittances.
