What is the effective date of the Consumable Hemp Product Tax?

The consumable hemp product tax is effective for taxable periods beginning on or after August 1, 2021. However, the industrial hemp-derived CBD tax was effective for periods beginning on or after January 1, 2020 and ending on or before July 31, 2021.
