How can I get a copy of my Louisiana Resale Certificate(s)?

The fastest and easiest way to obtain a copy of your Louisiana Resale Certificate is through LaTAP (Louisiana Taxpayer Access Point). You can download and print your certificate at any time at no charge.

Option 1 – Reprint from Your Sales Tax Account

  1. Log in to LaTAP.

  2. Select your Sales Tax account.

  3. Select More next to the account.

  4. Choose Re-print Resale Certificate.

  5. Follow the prompts to download or print your certificate.

Option 2 – Print from Your Letters

If your certificate has already been issued:

  1. Log in to LaTAP.

  2. Select More from the top navigation menu.

  3. Select View Letters.

  4. Locate your Resale Certificate and print or download it.

  5. Use the Filter or Search options to find older certificates if needed.

Can't Find the Re-print Option?

If the Re-print Resale Certificate option is unavailable, it may be because:

  • Your application is still being processed. Please allow 2–3 business days after approval for the certificate to become available online.

  • A resale certificate has not been issued for your account

If You Don't Have a LaTAP Account

If you are not registered for LaTAP, you may request a copy of your Louisiana Resale Certificate by submitting Form R-7004, Tax Information Disclosure Authorization, or by calling (855) 307-3893 to request the form by mail.

Please note: LDR charges a $15.00 research fee for each tax period requested. To avoid these fees, we encourage you to register for LaTAP and print your resale certificate online at no cost whenever possible.

Important: Printing your Louisiana Resale Certificate through LaTAP is free. Requests for LDR to research and reprint a certificate require Form R-7004 and applicable research and certification fees.
