License Suspension

Louisiana law allows certain licenses to be be suspended if you fail to pay your state taxes. These include:

• Driver's License issued by the Office of Motor Vehicles
• Fishing and Hunting Licenses issued by the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries

Reinstating Your License

To reinstate a suspended license, you must:

• Pay your outstanding tax balance in full on LaTAP, or;
• Enter into an payment plan with the Louisiana Department of Revenue
