LDR partners with OMV in Bossier City to resolve driver’s license suspensions

Updated August 12, 2026

BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) is partnering with the state Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) to help Shreveport/Bossier-area taxpayers resolve driver’s license suspensions.

In addition to the LDR Regional Office on Pierremont Road in Shreveport, tax officers are now stationed at the OMV office at 5050 Industrial Drive Extension, Bossier City, LA 71112. This location joins similar sites in Baton Rouge and Lafayette dedicated strictly to resolving driver’s license suspensions due to nonpayment of taxes or debts referred to the Louisiana Office of Debt Recovery (ODR) for collection.

LDR staff at the Bossier City OMV office cannot provide tax assistance beyond resolving driver’s license suspensions. For help with general tax matters, taxpayers in the Shreveport/Bossier area must work with staff at LDR’s Shreveport Regional Office.
